The PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail is one of the major permanent projects of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. With the works of over 60 international and regional artists, a unique exhibition of contemporary art in public spaces was being created between Chemnitz and the 38 municipalities of the Capital of Culture region.

Who is actually responsible for the PURPLE PATH?
The European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH is the owner of almost all of the artworks currently on display at the PURPLE PATH. The municipalities in which the artworks are located are responsible for maintenance, among other things.

Who owns the PURPLE PATH brand?
The European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH is the owner of the registered and thus protected trademark "PURPLE PATH", both the word mark and the author of the word/image mark and the logo. If you are interested in using the term or the logo, you must therefore always enquire with the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH.

Who is responsible for marketing the PURPLE PATH?
In terms of marketing, the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH as the brand owner works very closely with the tourism organisations in the region and the Free State of Saxony.
